After reaching Verbania, head for the
area of INTRA in Verbania.
The Stadium, or 'STADIO' as it
would read, is sign posted clearly for
your direction.
The four main areas that make up verbania are all within approx 5-10mins of each other.
All are walking distance to the front line of the Lake Maggiore.
FONDOTOCE: (Many camping complexing areas within Fondotoce), closest area to the train station, and home to the four
camping complexes. approx 5-10 mins by road to the Stadium.
INTRA: Good for shopping, front line promenade. Lido for Lake swimming, and ferry/boat port for boat trips &
excursions/day trips, leaving regularly throughout the day. Winding narrow streets with historical buildings. Many al fresco
cafes and dining options. Approx 5-10mins by road to Stadium.
PALLANZA: The more Tranquil area, front line lake promenade, tourist office, Town Hall, and historical buildings. Cafes
& Dining options through narrow streets and piazzas. Home to the world famous 'Villa Taranto', the Botanical gardens.
Ferry port. 10-15mins by road to the Stadium. Just a few stops by bus into Intra for more shopping options
SUNA: Another tranquil spot, Lido for lake swimming, approx 5-10mins by road to Stadium.
